Tiger's Dog Biscuits

Tiger, a 14-year-old Maltese, is the beloved companion of  Cal’s Classic American Chef Shannon Galusha (former chef and owner of Veil Restaurant). According to Galusha, “Tiger loves chewing on carrot sticks, chasing the cats around the house and napping.” (Don’t we all.)

Tigers's Biscuits
1 ½ cup whole wheat flour
1/8 cup unsalted seeds and nuts (I use pumpkin,
sunflower and flax seed)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 egg
1 tablespoon of molasses
1 clove of garlic
Chedder cheese to taste

Put garlic and seeds in food processer to chop. Combine all ingredients into a firm ball; add milk if moisture is needed.
Roll dough out and cut into your dog’s favorite cookie shapes (Tiger likes small dog bones). Place them on a greased cookie sheet (or use silt pad) and bake at 300 degrees Farenheight for 30 to 40 minutes or until the cookie is crisp. (Try to use organic where you can.)
