This Saturday, May 10: One Man, Two Dogs, 2000 Miles Walking From Canadian Border to Mexico Border To Educate About Canine Cancer

Luke Robinson, founder of 2 Million Dogs, a national organization that raises awareness of canine cancer, will be walking more than 2,000 miles from the Canadian border to the Mexican border with his two Great Pyrenees, Hudson and Indiana. The walk kicks off this Saturday, May 10 in Blaine, Washington and ends in California 2,000 miles later.

2 Million Dogs was started by Luke in 2008, when Malcom, his Great Pyrenees passed away from cancer. Luke’s mission is to raise awareness of this illness in dogs and educate people about keeping their dogs fit and healthy — hence, the walk.

During the journey, Luke will be video documenting and blogging about his experience and his walk will be tracked with a Tagg GPS Pet Tracker, so you can follow along virtually. Or, you are welcome to join him on the walk for one day, a week, or even the entire journey to help spread the word.
