The Healing Power of Pets…an hour of discovery with Delta Society

Seattle Animal Shelter Pet Therapy Group
Seattle, Wash. Members of the Seattle Animal Shelter Pet Therapy team take their own companion dogs to visit residents of Seattle retirement homes for monthly visits. Volunteers and their dogs interact with residents who range in health from independent and active to bedridden, many of them ex-pet owners. Becoming a member of our team is easy! Doggie Dash

8th Annual Pug Crawl

4th Annual Walk for the Underdog
May 18 • Los Angeles, Cal. 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the La Brea Tar Pits, 5801 Wilshire Blvd.  The Walk For the Underdog is the biggest dog pack and dog party on earth to benefit 30 local rescue organizations. During the walk, hundreds of "top dogs" from loving homes parade throughout the streets of Los Angeles with their humans, to raise money for the "underdogs," who await rescue. Walk for the Underdog is a sight to behold! Of course, in addition to it being a dog pack extraordinaire, it's a day of non-stop fun: Hundreds of dogs up for adoption from 30 different rescue organizations; live music all day; food and drink; vendors selling to dogs and humans with a percentage of sales going to the charity; silent auction; dog-related entertainment; and surprise celebrity guests. The 7th Annual ‘Hats Off’ Fashion Show & Luncheon

Run for the Love of Dove
