About me: For years I have wanted to buy land and build a place for sick and homeless animals. I've taken in many strays since I was a child and had found homes for most of them.
Koko's Place, named after an abandoned puppy I adopted, will be an off grid animal home and rescue for dogs that are homeless and disabled. For those unfamiliar with the term off grid, it means I will have to provide my own energy supply, water and waste removal. It's like homesteading. The facility will be located in New Mexico where land is remote and inexpensive with the climate being idea for solar power.
